■形態
・単眼は複眼から離れた位置に存在する
・median ocellus有り
・Legs with trichia irregularly arranged along entire length of tibia
・Thorax with laterotergite bare or haired
・Thorax with mediotergite bare
・wing membrane without macrotrichia(のはず)
・Wing vein R1 long, several times as long as crossvein r–m, nearly always ending in distal 1∕3 of wing 
・Sc ending free or in R
・crossvein r-m oblique.
・Wing with point of furcation of posterior fork (M4 and CuA) usually before point of furcation of anterior fork (M1+M2)
・crossvein sc–r, if present, close to apex of vein Sc;
・vein R2+3 present or absent
・vein C produced beyond apex of vein R4+5
